Body image is everywhere we look; billboards, commercials, book covers, and even school posters. We think we don’t notice body image, but subconsciously we do. Even in recovery, individuals are told to hold up a “mirror” at to take a good look at themselves. While recovery is looking more towards an internal self-assessment, there is no doubt that body images is a big part of daily life.
